What’s included?
The StayOS Guest Tablet + Charging Dock (personalized): the tablet and its charging dock, set up for your rental, plus the guide and remote for your guests’ phones. Your quote lists everything.
Do guests need an app?
No. Guests scan the code on the tablet and their stay opens in the phone’s browser. No download, no account.
Which devices does it work with?
From the tablet or a guest’s phone: Apple TV and Roku, Lutron lights, Honeywell Total Connect Comfort thermostats and Schlage locks. On the tablet: Govee lights and UniFi Protect doorbells.
Do I need a smart home?
No. The welcome, Wi-Fi, house guide, local favorites and check-out steps work on their own.
What happens after check-out?
The guest’s phone link stops working two hours after check-out, their tablet settings reset, and the tablet gets ready to welcome your next guest.
Is it private?
Each guest’s link works only for their stay, and the phone guide has no ads or tracking.
How much does it cost?
Tell us about your rental and we’ll send a quote with everything included. No payment is taken on this site. It’s also available on Etsy.
Can I use my own tablet?
StayOS runs on Android, and we build it on the Lenovo Smart Tab M8 and Smart Tab M10 FHD Plus. Already have one? Tell us the model in the form. iPads aren’t supported.
What if my device isn’t listed?
Send us the brand and model. If it’s technically possible, we’ll build the integration for free, and we’ll agree on the features and timing before we start.
Is this a property management system?
No. Keep your current tools for bookings and payments. StayOS reads your Airbnb and VRBO calendars for stay dates and looks after guests while they’re at the property.
